Privacy statement

This statement describes how Eaventure handles personal data in connection with this website and with correspondence.

Controller

The controller is EA Translations, which operates the Eaventure website and services. EA Translations is registered in the Dutch Commercial Register under KVK number 66308992, with VAT identification number NL001440793B90, and is based at Oldebroekstraat 2, 5045 TT Tilburg, the Netherlands. What this site collects

There is no contact form, no account, no newsletter sign-up and no login. If you contact Eaventure, you do so by email, using an address you choose to write from. The only place where this website asks visitors to submit information is the optional Eaventure Multilingual Operations Study described below.

Eaventure Multilingual Operations Study

The study at /research asks structured questions about your role and about how multilingual content work is organised in your organisation, such as sector, size band, headquarters country, suppliers, technology, AI use, quality control and measurement. You can submit a response without giving your name, organisation or contact details. Some combinations of answers, or information you type into open questions, could still make a response recognisable, so please leave out anything you would rather not share.

If the study was opened from an outreach link, the link may contain general campaign information: the channel (for example email or LinkedIn), an outreach wave, a message variant and the month it was sent. These describe a campaign, not a person, and are stored with the response. No personal reference code or other identifier that links a response to a named recipient is used. Browser fingerprints and user-agent details are not stored with responses.

To limit abuse, the number of submissions from one connection is restricted. For this, a one-way hashed value derived from your IP address is kept separately from the responses for up to 48 hours and then deleted. It is not linked to your answers.

Responses are used for aggregated research findings and future Eaventure benchmarks. Published findings are aggregated and never identify individual respondents or organisations. The basis for this processing is the legitimate interest in research and market understanding.

At the end of the study you can choose to receive a summary of the findings, a peer comparison where enough comparable responses exist, one research follow-up question, a short written view on an issue you described, or a discussion about whether Eaventure could help. Only if you choose one of these do we ask for a work email or LinkedIn profile; name and organisation stay optional. These details are stored separately from your answers and are used only for what you requested. Permission for a research follow-up is not permission for commercial contact. The basis for this contact is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to info@eaventure.nl.

Technical and server log data

Hosting infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, request details, user agent and timestamps in order to deliver pages, keep the site available, protect it against abuse and troubleshoot faults. The basis for this processing is the legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.

Email enquiries and prospective clients

When you write to Eaventure, we receive the content of your message and the details your email client includes, such as your name, email address and any information you choose to provide about your organisation. That correspondence is used to respond to your enquiry and to discuss a possible engagement. The basis is pre-contractual steps at your request, or the legitimate interest in ordinary business correspondence between organisations. Correspondence is not used for marketing lists and is not shared with third parties for their own purposes.

Client and contact-person data

To scope and deliver an engagement, Eaventure processes the business contact details and role information of the people involved on the client side. The basis is performance of the engagement agreement, or the legitimate interest in managing the relationship where the contract is with the organisation rather than the individual.

Sources of personal data

Personal data may come directly from the person concerned. It may also come from their organisation, from other participants in an engagement or from relevant public and professional sources where appropriate.

Financial and administrative data

Invoicing, accounting and related administration require processing of billing details and transaction records. The basis is performance of the agreement together with the legal obligations that apply to business administration in the Netherlands.

Engagement material

During an engagement, Eaventure may receive documents and information that contain personal data belonging to your organisation's staff or suppliers. Handling, storage and return or deletion of that material is agreed in writing before the engagement begins, in the engagement agreement. Where Eaventure acts on your instructions in relation to such material, it does so as a processor under that agreement.

Recipients

Personal data may be accessible to categories of service provider used to run the business: hosting and IT providers, email and productivity providers, and professional advisers such as accountants where necessary. AI service providers are used only where that use is consistent with the AI and editorial policy and with the requirements of the engagement. Data is not sold and is not shared for third party marketing.

International transfers

Where a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, Eaventure will rely on an applicable lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards where these are required.

Retention

Enquiry and prospect correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact.

Identifiable research survey responses are normally kept for up to 24 months after submission. Anonymised research findings may be kept longer.

Contracts, invoices and records that form part of the statutory business or tax administration are generally kept for seven years where Dutch law requires it.

Other engagement and project material is kept only as long as needed for the engagement, agreed follow-up and legitimate legal or business needs. It is then deleted or anonymised where appropriate.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may request access to the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, request restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, request portability where applicable and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Requests can be sent to info@eaventure.nl and will be answered within the period required by law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Automated decision-making

This website is not used to make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Security

Eaventure applies technical and organisational measures proportionate to the sensitivity of the material it handles, including access control, encryption in transit and restricted use of third party services. Specific measures are not described here.
