1 Introduction
Eaventure Language Consultancy (“ELC”, “we”, “us”) is a consultancy based in the Netherlands providing strategic guidance on multilingual communication, AI-translation workflows, and related services. We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2 Personal data we collect
We collect only the information needed to communicate and work with clients or prospective clients. This may include your name, business contact details such as email address, phone number, job title and organisation, as well as any information you provide voluntarily via email, our website, or LinkedIn. When you visit our website, certain technical details such as your IP address and browser type may also be processed for analytics and security. We do not collect sensitive personal data and do not use invasive tracking technologies.

3 How we use your information
We use your data to respond to enquiries, prepare and deliver consultancy services, maintain professional relationships, send relevant updates or newsletters when you have given consent, and comply with legal, accounting, or tax obligations. We process data on the basis of legitimate interest in operating our business, contractual necessity when providing services, or your consent where required.

4 Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide services and to comply with Dutch legal and tax requirements, generally seven years for client-related information. Non-client correspondence is deleted after two years unless a continuing business relationship is expected.

5 Sharing of data
Your information is treated as confidential. We share data only with reliable service providers—such as website hosting, email, and cloud storage—who process information securely and in accordance with the GDPR, or with official authorities when legally required. ELC does not sell or trade personal information.

6 International data transfers
If personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we ensure an adequate level of protection through EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other recognised safeguards.

7 Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to request a copy of your information in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Requests regarding your data can be sent to info@eaventure.nl; we respond within one month.

8 Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

9 Updates to this policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or business developments. The latest version will always be available on our website.

Eaventure Language Consultancy (ELC) is physically based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and currently operates under the trade name EA Translations, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 66308992. Traditional business correspondence, such as letters or other mail, should be addressed to the Tilburg address listed in the official KvK register. This address is used solely for formal communication and can be consulted through the public Chamber of Commerce register.
